Banker's Cheques are a guaranteed form of payment. They are like a personal cheque but GUARANTEED (that is, there is no clearance delay - goods are sent off by return post just as if you had paid by postal orders, cash or credit/debit card. ) A Banker's Cheque simplifies the ordering procedure for clients who do not wish to pay by debit or credit card.
You can order a Banker's Cheque from any bank simply by handing them the money over the counter but if you have an account with the bank it is sometimes cheaper. If you have a Building Society account then they will issue you with a cheque in the same way.
Just ask them to make the Banker's / Building Society Cheque out to: THE SORCERER'S APPRENTICE (i.e. The 'Sorcerer's Apprentice' is the payee)
Write out your order and list the items you require (all prices in this website are shown in British Pounds and INCLUDE postage and packing costs). Total up your order, then add the usual £1.00 cheque paying in fee (to cover the bank's paying in charge). Ask your Bank or Building Society to make the cheque out to 'The Sorcerer's Apprentice'. They will write the cheque out for you there and then. Mail the cheque and order to us. Your goods will be on their way to you the day we receive it and be with you within 3 - 5 days.
