PAYING BY CASH IN THE U.K.  FREE Registered Post / Special Delivery Offer !* If you reside in the U.K. paying by cash has distinct advantages for some clients, particularly for those who require utmost confidentiality. It's quick. It's Easy. You don't need a bank account No waiting whilst you visit the post office (ideal for the rurally isolated) You don't pay poundage Despatch is immediate - there's no waiting for clearance There's no trace of the sale through your personal accounts or on your card statement**. We will of course always provide full itemised printed documentation  / receipts with your orders for your own records however you choose to pay.  For some people paying by cash is ideal - here's how to get the best from it: It is best to use Special Delivery (new name for the old Registered Post).  If you choose to take the risk of sending currency through the normal post without registering  it  then note the following: Obscure the notes using dark / opaque paper or card. DO NOT SEND COINS, even if well-wrapped, as lumpy envelopes could jam in the post office's mechanical sorting machines. Send only Notes. Always put your return address on the back of your envelope. Make sure that you indicate on the order form how many notes you have sent in the space provided.  (i.e. £5.00 x 2   £10.00 x 1 =  £20.00 total) Any overpayments will be credited to your account . For example. If  the ordered item costs £8.99 - send £10.00 x 1 note  or £5.00 x 2 notes.  The balance of   £1.01 will be credited to your account for future use. We account down to the last penny and have been in business for a quarter of a century but if you do not intend buying anything else from us in future then you can elect to have any overpayment returned to you so you are still quids in. If sending cash you do not of course have to pay the Bank Transaction Fee, saving a further 1.00. Goods paid for by cash are despatched by return post. Clients often send notes through the post and save considerably on poundage . Canny regulars know that after a few orders they've saved enough poundage to indemnify them from the risk of loss and thus are topside.   Loss in the post to us is extremely rare. Some regulars have paid by cash for years and never had a problem.    However, if you adopt this method you do so at your own risk.  If  unsure then use Special Delivery or try a smaller order first until you get used to it?   * SPECIAL DELIVERY OFFER:  If your order totals more than £100.00 and you are paying by British cash then we will pay your Special Delivery charges (£4.60) for you. All you need do is deduct £4.60 from the total of your remittance and use it to pay for the Special Delivery at your end. * * Note that to preserve the confidentiality of those who do use a credit/debit card the entry on your statement will read simply:  'S.A.
