CREDIT CARD TERMS FOR ORDERS THAT ARE POSTED-IN.There are no credit or debit card charges for orders placed on-line using the buy-now buttons on our webpages (see adjacent column left) you just pay the button-prices as shown on the site. If you choose to send in an order by post and submit written Card details which have to be manually handled the following rules will apply.CHARGES FOR ABORTED CREDIT CARD AND DEBIT CARD ORDERSAll credit card sales (posted in) are subject to a 4% approx authorisation charge not exceeding a maximum of £1.00 in total. E.G. if your order totals 10.00 then 40p extra will be added to cover credit card authorisation and handling. If your order totals 25.00 then 1.00 will be added tocover card handling charges. If your order totals 1,000.00 you will still only be charged 1.00 for card handling. We will compute and itemise these costs clearly on your receipt. INSUFFICIENT FUNDS: Please do not place a credit or debit card order with us unless you are certain that you have enough balance / credit to amply cover the sale . We electronically authorise every sale and the credit/debit card company's computers will refuse the sale if there is not enough in your account or you are over your limit. Even if your account is only one cent/one penny short the credit card computer will reject the sale. Customers who do not know the exact state of their card account and whether it is sufficiently in credit to cover the order they want to place should avoid ordering by post and instead order using the on-line buttons on our website (see left) because the system will then warn you if you have insufficient funds to cover and avoid locking you into the ancillary charges outlined below. The picking, sorting, preparation and packing of an order, particularly one from overseas, is extremely time consuming and we cannot process your card accurately until that work is first invested in the sale. Therefore, if you place an order by post which is refused by your credit /debit card company because of shortage of funds we will expect you to honour the sale in some other way (CASH / Banker's Cheque / British Postal Orders etc.,) or by the use of a different card to cover the time we will have invested in processing the order up to authorisation level.
Please do not chance using a credit / debit card by post if you are near your limit - use the on-line buttons instead. Some people are pretty sloppy with their accounts and don't know their balances. We understand that but we don't want to have to embarrass you and we don't want to have to charge you so please make sure you have enough credit/balance to cover. The ball is in your court. Please do not order on the assumption that funds may be in your account by the time we process because we are so quick in getting orders out we may get there first and if the sale is rejected we will charge you for our time as outlined above. The placing of an order by credit / debit card will be deemed an acceptance of these conditions. HOW TO PLACE CREDIT / DEBIT CARD ORDERS WHICH ARE POSTED-IN TO US: This applies only to customers residing within the U.K. ( Overseas clients should always use the on-line buy-now buttons because everything is automatically calculated for them on-line, including the best possible currency exchange rate and cumulative overseas airmail postage). U.K. customers wishing to post an order in should print out the Order Form/Coupon at the foot of each webpage; write in their details and post it to:
