If you are ordering by email using your Credit / DebitCard we charge your card with the total in British Pounds and your card company will use the official rate of currency exchange at the money-markets on that day, adding approximately one percent for handling. It is a simple process  and your card statement will show the details in full.

United States Dollars Conversion:  

You can work out the conversion  for US Dollars exactly, using the  Currency Converter instructions below but movements in the dollar/pound exchange rate are normally very slight, so American clients can use 1.5 ratio as a rough guide (i.e. every £10.00 British Pounds you spend will cost you $15.00 US dollars approx. equivalent).  Remember , we do not exchange your currency, we just bill you in £s., the credit/debit card companies do the conversion and you will be charged the official  exchange rate so can never be short-changed.

How To Use The Currency Converter

A sample of the currency converter window is shown below.  To go to the actual converter you will need to click on the Perform Currency Conversion button  in that window.  When you do that you will be taken to the Currency Conversion site and be shown  a clean I Want To Convert window again.

1. Enter the total of your order  into the 'this amount' box
2. Use the down arrow or slider bar on the right hand side of the 'this type of currency' box  and click on GBP United Kingdon Pounds
3. Then do the same with  the 'into this type of currency' box but click on your own home country's currency. For example USD United States Dollars
4. Then click on the Perform Currency Conversion button.  In a few seconds the currency converter will tell you what your order will cost in dollars.
5. When you have noted  the cost in your home currency simply click on your 'back' button to return to the QFM. website and continue surfing.

This currency converter is provided here so you can gauge the value of the goods you have chosen in your own currency. It gives a very accurate guide to the day's exchange rates and trends. Currency rates move second by second but those movements are in general very small (normally fractions of a percent).  The exact rate charged will therefore be the one prevailing at the moment the exchange takes place through your bank or credit card company and may be a notch up or down on the figure given.
